Biggest Gold Nugget Metal Detecting

OK, this may not be the biggest gold nugget ever found but it sure is a nice chunk.   This 3.8oz beauty was found in the goldfields of Victoria using a GPZ 7000 metal detector.  Skip ahead to the 7:45 mark and you can actually hear the nugget as its drops just inches from the coil.  It took a while to pinpoint this gold nugget but as you can hear in the video the signal was strong and relentless.  It just goes to show that dirt fishing is a hobby that takes time and patience.  This gold nugget is valued around $5000.00, kinda makes you want to go out and start metal detecting doesn't it?
